Liverpool’s lead was short-lived as Gabriel Martinelli headed one past Alisson from a Leandro Trossard cross in the 47th minute.
Liverpool could not capitalize on their chances, and this came to sting them in the 70th minute as Mikel Merino equalized from Odegaard’s rebound.

The Gunners were reduced to 10 men in the 79th minute after a reckless challenge from Merino. Liverpool failed to capitalize on this. However, Andy Robertson thought he had scored the match-winning goal, only for it to be ruled as offside.
The match ended as both sides shared points, leaving the race for Champions League qualification in the Top 5 still open for Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle, Chelsea, and Aston Villa.
