The expansion of Kabarak University to accommodate its growing student population also extends beyond infrastructure. Recently, the university received a generous donation of books from Prof. Sung Park and Mrs. Eun Park, American missionaries serving with Africa Gospel Outreach.
This donation, comprising 4,140 volumes covering 3,627 titles across various disciplines, strengthens the foundation for students and the broader Kabarak community to engage in meaningful scholarship.
It features titles in Theology, Biblical studies, Family studies, Church History, Philosophy, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Contemporary Issues, and African Religions, among others.
Kabarak’s approach to welfare extends beyond academics. At Kabarak University, students and faculty members engage in meaningful conversations that promote healthy minds.
The institution has held workshops at both the Main and Nakuru City campuses to raise awareness among students and staff on mental health issues, including depression. This initiative is particularly important given the rising cases of students facing mental health challenges in Kenyan universities.
